Homefix Roofing: Cheaper Isn't Always Better

By Homefix Corporation

Saving money is a priority for a lot of people, so smart shoppers know to keep an eye out for a bargain. When it comes to home improvement projects, what may seem like a steal in the short term, could end up costing a lot of money in the long run.

Case in point, this is an example of a builder grade roof. This roof is 13 years old, and rotting beneath the shingles.

It probably cost less to install than a higher quality roof, but it needed to be replaced earlier, as well. Plus, think of the money spent on energy expenses due to an inefficient and rotting roofing system!

Thanks to the Homefix Fairfax office for sharing this photo from their roofing install yesterday.
